C A M P S
All camp registrations can be mailed to: Fennville High School, 4 Memorial Drive, Fennville MI
49408, ATTN: Sports Camps. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, May 14, 2008. LATE
REGISTRATION: Late registration/on-site will be allowed, however, it does not guarantee a
t-shirt (first come first serve basis).

Registration Fee
Registration Fee is $20.00 per child for the first camp. Each additional camp is $10.00.
Registration includes one (1) t -shirt for the first $20.00 registration. NO REFUNDS.

Equipment Required/Grade Level For some camps, equipment may be required by the
participant. Please see the individual camp information sheet for
requirements, if any. Please use the grade that your son/daughter will be going into during the
2008-2009 school year.

Medical Information
If your son/daughter has a medical history that may affect their participation in the camp
program, please make the head coach aware of this.

Wrestling
Campers will receive instruction on collegiate wrestling techniques.  The camp will stress
takedowns, escapes and pinning.

Dates:  March 9 – 12 & 14, 2009
Location:  Fennville Community Athletic Center
Grades 2nd – 8th (3:15PM – 4:45PM)
Baseball
Participants will receive the basic instruction in baseball skills with an emphasis on fielding,
catching, hitting, throwing, game strategies and situations.
Camp Coordinator:  Troy Dusek, Head Varsity Baseball Coach
Equipment Required:  glove, sweat pants/comfortable clothes and gym shoes
Dates:  April 18 & 25, 2009
Location:  Fennville Community Athletic Center/HS Gym
Grades 5th – 8th (9:00AM – 10:15AM)
Grades 2nd – 4th (10:30AM – 11:45AM)
Softball
Participants will receive the basic instruction in softball skills with an emphasis on fielding,

Cheerleading
This clinic is for anyone interested in learning the basics of cheerleading (for the younger
cheerleader), and more advanced techniques (for the older cheerleader).

Dates:  June 22 – 25, 2009

Volleyball
Camp will focus on individual skills during the first half of the camp and on team skills the
second half.

Boys Basketball
Campers receive instruction on shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense
techniques.

shielding, etc.  Each session will include small sided and/or full field games.

Equipment required: soccer or gym shoes, shin guards and ball
Dates:  July 27 – 30, 2009
Location:  HS Soccer Field
Grades 6th – 8th (4:45PM – 6:00PM)
Grades 2nd – 5th (6:15PM – 7:30PM)
Girls Soccer
Participants will learn basic techniques such as shooting, heading, receiving, dribbling,
shielding, etc.  Each session will include small sided and/or full field games.

Equipment required: soccer or gym shoes, shin guards and ball
Dates:  July 27 – 30, 2009
Location:  HS Soccer Field
Grades 6th – 8th (4:45PM – 6:00PM)

Football
Camp will stress fundamentals and include group competitions, flag football games, individual
and team instruction.

Equipment Required:  Shoes and Shorts (Football pads will NOT be worn for this camp
Dates:  August 3 – 6, 2009
Location:  HS Football Practice Field
Grades 2nd – 6th (5:30PM – 6:45PM)
Grades 7th – 8th (5:30PM – 6:45PM)
Track/Cross Country
Participants will learn a variety of conditioning drills, field events and strategies for distance
running competition.
