COMMUNITY ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER
On April 1, 2009 the Fennville Downtown Development Authority will begin publishing an electronic newsletter, titled “Community News”. The newsletter is free and will be sent out twice a month and will include news, information, press releases, and other information related to Fennville.
As a business within the DDA district there is a huge advantage to this project for you and your business. It’s up to you whether you take full advantage of this free offer.
The Community News will be directly tied into www.fennville.com and any story that is published in the Community News can be directed back to your web site, Fennville News, or a news page can be developed on Fennville.com. Fennville .com has been redesigned to match the look of the community newsletter.
At this time, the Children’s Museum, Fennville District Library, Fennville Public Schools, Discovery School and a host of businesses are all on board with this project. They will be providing news and information to the Community News project. After the first time sent, this can be forwarded to anyone and it will be suggested to be forwarded.
Each business in the DDA district is listed on the web site. However to make the Community News more attractive to the Fennville community, a coupon corner has been added. If your business has in store specials that they would want listed, it’s quite simple. Just e-mail us your company logo and a jpeg each month and we will link them together.
The Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce Community Calendar is also listed on the web site and has a vast number of happenings in Fennville. The Calendar can be linked from you site and can have your events as well.
Do you have something press release worthy? With out a printed paper some of the simple news items that took place 10-20 years ago have gone by the way side. Now if you have something press release worthy, get the information to us with pictures and they will be added to the Community News and the web site.
Do you need help? That is what the DDA is here for, we will assist you. We want you to prosper and are willing to do what we can do to help.
