VOLUNTEER RECOGNIZED
This month we’d like to recognize Bryan Mix-Dean for his role as a volunteer, and for his
work at the CAC.

THANK YOU
We’d like to thank Tina and Jim Westenbroek for coordinating a donation from the VFW
for athletic equipment to be used at the Center.  We greatly appreciate this effort.

BRICK PROJECT
Buy a brick for the main entrance of the Fennville Community Athletic Center.  Honor a
friend, family or family member, athlete, student, company, organization, by having his
or her name, company name, or logo on an engraved brick.  These bricks line the main
entry of the recreation building.  Each brick may be purchased with a minimum gift of
$75.00.

TENNIS TOURNAMENT ANYONE?
If anybody is interested in a double’s tennis tournament, please contact me.  If there are
enough participants, we will have a tournament.

Tennis players of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to pick a partner and register
for the tournament.  Tournament play will take place at the Fennville Community
Athletic Center.

ADULT CO-ED SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Come and enjoy a night of adult co-ed softball.  Get your corporation, your church, or
your friends together to participate (and/or maybe sponsor you).

The teams normally will consist of 10 person teams with five (5) males and (5) females
competing.  Eligible players must be 18 years old and graduated from high school.

Games will be on Fridays and will start May 15.  They will be one hour; beginning at 5:30-
6:30 pm, 6:30-7:30 pm, and 7:30-8:30 pm. Cost is $250 per team and will be played at the
City Park.

All registration forms must be completely filled out on a Fennville CAC registration form
and $250 per team must be paid by May 4.

Schedules will be sent via e-mail to the team captains and everyone else on the team for
which I have an email address.
All games will be played as scheduled unless circumstances dictate otherwise (i.e.,
weather).  Games may have to be re-scheduled at other locations.  Games will be played
with a 60-minute time limit or seven full innings (whichever occurs first).
