Welcome to the City of Fennville! I hope that your visit to our website is a
profitable one. The City Staff are available to serve the citizens, and
welcome the opportunity to share information with you.
Currently, the City of Fennville has the goal of bringing new ideas and
quality services to our residents. As the population of the City grows, we
find that there are new and different needs to be met. I certainly welcome
commentary and suggestions from all on how to do this effectively. As our
rich and diverse cultural heritage suggests, there is a wealth of experiences
to be found in Fennville. From our beautiful bed and breakfast
establishments to the authentic Mexican eatery and grocery, the City has
much to offer. That includes the unique experience of attending the goose
festival and perhaps getting your goose cooked in Fennville!
Some of our recent accomplishments include the addition of a Children's
Museum and the development of new quarters for our emergency services
personnel, as well as a substation for the Allegan County Sheriff and State
Police. Our downtown area has received some beautifications and
improvements by business owners which leave us feeling pride when we
drive through our downtown area. Some of our goals include attracting
additional businesses to the central business district. We have also begun
the planning process for recreational programs, and hope to have a soccer
program in the future by partnering with the school.
The City Commission and I are committed to providing the highest possible
quality of life for our residents through the governmental process. Please let
